excellent product. keep it in my backpack and carry with me to uni everyday, solid as a tank. reliable, Very lightwieght, silent when operating, and no need for a power cable!! very portable, easy to sue, plug in to any computer and your away. plus its disticintive colour means you wont confuse it with anyone elses :-)

as i have the one with only usb, transfer can be slightly slow if doing multiple large transfers, but a really very minor qualm, and you can always get teh one with firewire if your that bothered..

Delivery time was fantastic, but that's it.

The drive comes with an installed startup app ON the drive itself - the idea is great as it lets you choose between formating for Windows, or Windows/MAC/Linux.

The app is mandatory to run (on the drive itself) - without running it, the drive is unformatted and CANNOT be formatted from the PC format option.

Although the drive was intially recognised by pc - when I ran the setup program (on the drive), the application crashed and now the drive is totally useless - in the process of arranging relacement.

Hopefully the new one will work - prepared to give the drive a second chance - these things happen, perhaps I just got the friday 5pm unit.
