Wireless speed and range
The Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem-Router uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N. By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's "Multiple In, Multiple Out" (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. -
Fast wired connections
The modem-router also provides connections for 4 directly-wired network devices. You'll get fast file transfers to network storage devices, printers, and other wired network devices. -
On-time delivery with QoS
And, to deliver your time-sensitive Internet traffic efficiently, the modem-router features Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities. QoS tells your network to give priority to packets in time-sensitive streams like Voice (VoIP) or media (audio or video), so that these types of applications can deliver less garbled conversations and smoother digital video. -
Wireless security
To help protect your data and privacy, the modem-router can encrypt all wireless transmissions with the latest industrial-strength 128-bit encryption. -
Internet security
The Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem-Router has a powerful SPI firewall to help protect you against intruders and most known Internet attacks. The modem-router also features filter that lets you deny specific types of Internet requests, and block certain application types. -
Access controls for parents
Of growing concern for parents is the amount and type of Internet access their families have. The Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem-Router can help. Parents can create policies for each PC in the house, to control access by time and day, specific website, keyword, protocols, or applications. -
The heart of your home network
With the Linksys Wireless-N Home ADSL2+ Modem-Router at the center of your home network, you can connect to a high-speed Internet connection, share web access, files, printers, and multi-player games, and run media-intensive applications, both wired and wirelessly!

This worked great with all my devices. The set up was pretty quick and had easy steps to configure everything. I was surprised with the signal, it rached much further than my old router. All in all a very good device.

Pooer performance
Reviewed by Mark. Review Posted 19/05/2011
When I purchased this I thought I would get better performance than my old Netgear 54g how wrong.
Even though it is N technology in practice the wireless connection speed was closer to 10Mbs than 100Mbs my old router delivers higher near 54Mbs.
On top of this it also drastically reduced the line connection, whereas my old router was delivering download speeds of up to 5Mbs the Linksys was delivering only 0.5Mbs. It seems there is a lot of configuration to do to get reasonable performance from these.

Fed up with it already

Don't consider this router if you're on O2 broadband
The settings available on this aren't compatible with O2 broadband. Some people have had some luck with playing around with the settings to closely match what they should be, but it's unreliable at best. I can get on web pages, but I usually have to click the link twice and wait about 5 minutes for it to load.
Aside from the broadband issues, I've had to disconnect and reconnect my wifi connection at least 4 times since setting up.
Overall opinion: probably not worth the money, even though it is cheap
