Logitech Z 10 Interactive Speaker System - PC multimedia speakers - 30 Watt (Total) - 2-way

I have these running via the usb with no problems except I can't get volume to go down to zero. I rather think I need to play more to find the correct configuration, but that's why we buy this stuff right (cause of the problems)?
good sound though especially on acoustic tracks - hi bit rates.
touch sensitive panel is INCREDIBLY sensitive, but with practice means no finger prints.
presets are a little confusing as if you set 1 and then change 1 to another value, the original 1 goes to 2. In principle this is a good idea, but for those of us who use presets over time and may use 1 preset for media centre, another for i-tunes and so on, it can get confusing.
overall though a good attempt for illeligent computer speakers from Logitech.

i never write reviews, however i feel i have to due to this product,, the quality of the sound that these speakers produce is truly outstanding,deep base,excellent treble and managed output, superb value,quality and a great price, don't hesitate - buy !!!

Overall, great speakers. After DABS finally sent me a set that weren't smashed...and then finally refunded the additional carriage charge which was added on, I am pleased. Sound is great. They look fab. Interface is pretty easy to use. "surprise" features (like CPU and RAM usage displays, countdown timers, clocks) increase my impression. You do need to install the software before adding the speakers to your system. Beware though -- they are HEAVY!

...these speakers are so good!
A taught, tuneful bass, crystal-clear high frequencies and sympathetic vocal tones characterise these monitor quality speakers. They look the absolute business either side of your flat screen too. But it's the sheer quality of the sound that steals the show. If you've ever wondered if there's a difference between a 128kbps and 192kbps mp3 you'll find out with these! They are blowing me away right now. Just buy them.

I was worried I wasn’t going to get these speakers for ages, apparently they were out of stock. But within a week they arrived and I couldn’t be happier! The picture does NOT do them justice, they look amazing on my desk! The sound quality is fantastic too. I agree with the others that everything sounds so much clearer. Setting them up couldn’t have been easier, load the CD and simply plug it in. I strongly recommend these to anyone who has some spare cash lying around and if you don’t have the money start saving!

I've waited for these speakers to arrive for weeks... they were so worth the wait :D I dont think there are a pair of 2.0 pc speakers on the market today that can rival these. Take no notice of the picture on this site as they look far better when you see them up close and personnal. Pro points, great sound (really great - you wont believe youve got only 2 speakers on the go), touch screen keys (how cool is that),enabling you to skip tracks pause, etc on the speaker itself, preset radio stations (upto 4), a speaker display that shows items like volume all the way to cpu and ram usage !!!, good software, headphone jack, did i mention how good they sound :) Tracks you love will sound even better - for real. neg points, There not the most powerful speakers i have ever heard but they are more than enough for me and they give of nice bass even though there isnt a sub-woofer and you kinda get the impression they will last you a lifetime.

The first you will realise when you unpack these speakers is the exceptional build quality. Setting them up takes seconds. The sound quality on these speakers is greater than my hi-fi system downstairs,which i find increderble considering my hi-fi speakers are over 6 x the size, music really does seem clearer, even at full volume.The volume you can achieve is high enough that i was yelled at to turn them down when about 3/4 full. VERY VERY good clear sound, i might as well bin my ipod speakers right now because these puppies have a cable port so i can plug it into these instead. The music display, funtional buttons so you can do most things without even looking at your monitor and headphone jack which is neatly tucked away at the side are all icings on the cake, i hope you have a sweet tooth. Its worth mentioning that you can use a normal speaker cable instead of usb but all you get is volume control on the display.

These are well built, solid speakers that look very, very nice. If anything, the LCD and buttons are a bit cheap looking relative to the rest of the speaker but overall they look good on a desk!

The sound quality is more than adequate and they have decent volume capabilities. They have replaced an old Creative 5.1 system for me and although they don't have a separate sub this isn't an issue for anything other than game explosions! For listening to music it’s actually a bonus and the stereo imaging is so much better.
One thing to be aware of (that wasn't clear on here or on the Logitech site) is that if you connect them via USB it will bypass your soundcard. I have a Creative X-Fi so was a little disappointed with this. I have discovered though that if you connect both the USB and the 3.5mm jack to your sound card and then set your sound card as the default playback device you get the best of both worlds - sound through your sound card plus the LCD functionality via the USB.
