Nice while it lasted...
Reviewed by Matthew Slyman. Review Posted 31/10/2009
The mouse is fine - it tends to jump around when being used on adverse surfaces but on most surfaces where you'd normally expect a mouse to work, this works fine. The problem is the CABLE, which is MUCH thinner than normal MS mouse cables. After about six months the mouse started being unreliable- a problem that grew over time. I thought the USB connections on my computer were malfunctioning because the mouse connected and disconnected continually without obvious reasons. Finally I gave up. On close inspection, a small part of the silver-coloured cable had turned BLACK - obviously the flimsy wires had broken internally and short-circuited. I'm lucky I didn't damage my computer. I won't be buying one of these again. These days I carry a full-sized Microsoft mouse with me whenever I travel. It's bulkier but it's worth it for the extra-robust cable.
