Wow!

I am not a big Microsoft fan, but having tried this and the new Ubuntu release, i feel that Ubuntu are taking a step backwards whereas Microsoft are definitely moving forward after the awfulness of Vista! Love this OS, very fast, very reliable and boots up in no time, if you are still wondering weather to upgrade, just do it!! You will not regret it!!

Released on time

Not sure why the above comment has been made - I received my Ultimate copy on time with no problems. I love the new Windows 7 - I work in IT and find saying I "love" any Micro$oft product is a statement I would never make!
Ultimate is not the best value however, professional is the better option (unless you want bit-locker or the language pack), and is stupidly expensive.

So this is Windows done right is it?
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 29/10/2009
Call me Mr.Picky but when Microsoft spend months banging on about how Windows 7 is "Windows done right" and the release date was "October 22nd", i don't recall there being any additional notes stating that "this does not apply to British buyers of the Ultimate version, so if you pay the most money for the version with the most features, you'll get yours when we can be bothered to release it, which might be during November if you're lucky." This is a joke!
