Windows Vista SP1 is an update to Windows Vista that addresses feedback from customers. SP1 also addresses some management, deployment, and support challenges.

Got to admit I'm impressed!

I haven't always been a Windows fan but from a system builder point of view it all went really well. Vista installed itself on new hardware with absolutely no fuss and was able to connect to the internet before I installed motherboard specific drivers. This was great because I could go on-line and get the latest versions right away. Automatic updates took over from there and have worked fine.
Note: this is for system builders and you will not get end-user support from Microsoft if you choose this version.
