Great product with all the connectors I needed in an easy to use modular layout.

Runs cold and quiet even at heavy load.

Looses one star for ease of use as the cpu connector is a little short if using PSU in bottom mounting case.

Cheap PSUs are a false economy, pay for better quality and higher efficiency... Your wallet and PC will thank you in the long run.

Bought this 700w PSU for a new build PC.

Very impressed with quality of the build and the parts and information supplied. Fairly easy to use the manual along with the case and motherboard manual to correctly wire everything. This was my first PC build, although I am used to changing parts.

Both 4pin and 8pin CPU power leads supplied and and plenty of SATA and 4pin power points on the 4 modular cables. Also 2 6pin modular cables for SLI graphics cards.

The only minor problems were that the cable quality is so good that it wasn't easy to connect to SATA hard drives directly. An Akasa SATA power splitter made those connections much easier.

The CPU power cable is also a little short if mounted at the bottom of the case and you want to hide the cable, but some cases have extension included.

Highly recommend the MosxStream range. Two weeks since build and working very well.

OCZ Modstream 700w - SLI Ready? No it isn't!!!

Nice PSU and fairly cheap. Unfortunately, it's
crippled by it's design. The PSU has two 12v rails
capable of providing 25A each. Unfortunately, you
only have access to the 12v2 rail when powering
your graphics card(s). e.g. in SLI, both your
cards will be running of the same rail so better
not need more than 25A combined...
