Great price for a quality product.

If you switch the PSU off (at the switch on the back) you will find it uses in the region of 10w of electricity when your computer is not powered on. The PC iself differs in current draw per setup. I find the twin 6 pin PCI-e a very great bonus since its sometimes hard to find quality adapters.. that one of them doubles as an 8 pin only adds to the compatibility with many graphics cards. A great buy.

Good PSU be careful in large case with PSU at bottom

Great PSU generally and great value. It has all the right connections for most uses (Graphics cards even Floppy for latest sound cards). However, if using in a large case with the PSU in the bottom, the CPU power lead only just reaches if you route the cables through the gap in PCI cards. Shame it doesn't have leads as long as Zalman ZM500-GT which seems perfect fr every scenario.

Powering an i3 cpu 2 h/drives Gtx660 dvd and still giving enough to power some external usb devices.I can't find any reviews and it is low cost so took a gamble and so far 10 days heavy use and all OK. Three year G/tee is reassuring.

Good for the price and very quiet

I'm using this with an i3 3220 and Radeon HD 7850.
Both are not large consumers so they would work even with a less powerful power supply.
I agree with everything what other reviews on this website say.

I'm not sure though how it would perform with more load, but for more configuration it works perfectly and it was the cheapest option.

Also,it is very quiet. You can barely hear it and it is in general less noisy than an average 120mm fan.
When there isn't much load the fan even turns off.

I have no idea about its efficiency, but I don't bother with that because power bills are included in my rent :D

Overall, good for price, but I haven't read many other reviews so I can't say whether it would work with actual 500W gaming rig.

Everything on the specifications page appears to be accurate, this PSU powers a quad core with an GTX295 (which is quite the power hog being SLI in one card)in my PC.

Everything seems to run good, I only write this review to point out that if you do buy this PSU, you would be well advised to switch it of at the mains on a night, since to my surprise it uses 10 more watts when the computer is powered off than my old 500w psu which has lower amp ratings on the 12v rail (single rail)... It measures 25w draw here with nothing happeneing. (very surprised, since I expected more overall efficiency).
