I have an old Dell Dimension 3000 with PCI slots. Finding a graphic card that did not need more than 250w of power was failry tricky. However this card has been a fantastic choice to upgrade my old Dell. I play flight simulator X and the improvement is amazing. The card arrived within 48 hours of ordering and I just plugged it in and I was away. No cables to connect. Drivers installed no problem. Given I have never installed a graphic card I was amazed how easy and simple it was. If you have an older PC with PCI slots then I would definately recommend this.

Can I just confirm before purchase if anyone knows this is an older PCI type?
Not PCI-E!!
As PCI is very hard to find these days and alot of companies don't actually state PCI-E when you search.

I've just ordered one of these (Hence me being here reading these reviews) to go inside my computer... WOOO i have a Dell Dimension 3000 too!!! oh wait... i mean Uh-Oh i have a Dell Dimension 3000 too... but i'm glad it worked for yours in the end, here's hoping mine will too...

after installing this card my computers base score went to 3.0 from 1.0. This is amazing product. I suggest any one buying this would buy intel P 4 3.06 GHZ processor. This will enhance the gaming and computing experience. The results are excellent and get the desired results in the blink of eye. i never had this type of wonderful experience before. I love this card as it is cheap and and gives the maximum satisfaction

Easy to install, software good and easy,all cables included digital analogue and even an adapter, no trouble what so ever after reading all the other reviews all I can say is I'd never buy a dell as they seem to have problems with everything, I have a fujitsu Siemems installation was a breeze and am very pleased with the results and of course the usual excellent service from dabs

Ordered this on Wednesday, arrived the day after. Slid the side off my dell dimension 3000 and put it in. Took minutes. The software installation was less happy. I have 1440x900 monitor, don't if this had anything to do with it. Did the self installation off the cd and the screen went blank. I was unable to get into windows xp then. Did a 'last known working configuration' to get it started again. Uninstalled the inegrated graphics and installed the driver via the harware management menu. Works great now.

Great for cheap Dell servers

I bought this to upgrade the onboard graphics on a Dell server being used as a general PC. Arrived the next day, quicker than expected. DVDs now play with much better detail and with no glitches. Games load faster and now I have reasonable 3D animation and proper texturing. I should have bought one when I bought the server but I did not know what I was missing.

Been struggling to find PCI card to run two screens. Order this item at 7PM, opted for next working day, (not expecting it until day after next), it arrived at 8.45am NEXT day. So good start. Disable onboard graphics through control panel, installed new card connected Duel momitors. Ran CD and away we go, the nView Desktop manager is fantastic, you can clone, span horizontally, vertically, Duel. Settings for each monitor can be adjusted individually. Gig thank you dabs
