Marketing triumph over function

25.5in. Not ‘26 in.’
GOOD: Pivot, Height control, Brightness, Matt LCD
BAD: Highly reflective glossy black surround and chrome strip at bottom.
On-Off switch unreachable, at back.
Controls unreadable, but distracting bold silver S/\MSUNG logo.
Both Power and VGA leads get in the way on pivoting – they attach to screen not stand so move a lot both Horizontally and Vertically.
(Loudspeakers will only give vertical stereo when in portrait mode.)
WARNING: DO NOT USE the supplied Magic Tune SW with a Tecra A9 laptop. I cannot use right hand 20% of laptop screen - permanently occupied by XP Start menu, which I cannot move. I have uninstalled Magic Rotate SW, but cannot find the other Magic Tune SW in Control Panel to uninstall that.
BOTTOM LINE: OK if you must have 1920 x 1200 AND Pivot, on condition you can return if SW is liable to screw up your computer.
Overall ergonomics - surround and controls (hidden in surround), On/Off Sw - appalling.
