Noisy and Slow

When this drive is say half full it's performance sufffers NOTABLY, (more than what a derga would solve) and is advertised elsewhere with a MAXIMUM read speed of 66MB sec, for obvious reasons, now, big, but/and slow, you don't get something for nothing.
This drive also emits a noisy clicking noise most of the time it's in operation (or doing big reads/writes) I don't think its a sign of the rive about to fail (think it has a 5 yr warranty anyhow) but is just a "feature" of this model, hence the price.
