Useful device but could be better

Lets start with build - The device itself is sound and solid maybe a little too solid as the power supply plug falls out far too easily, I had to return my first one as it would not remain plugged in. The replacement is not much better have to be careful when moving device that the cable does not fall out - the power jack is just too short.

Changing the config was not straight forward. Although device is configured for DHCP out of the box it failed to pick up an IP Address from my Netgear router.

Tried using the software to manually change the IP address and it failed. Had to resort to a crossover cable and reconfigure my PC to the same 169.... IP Address as the device and then was able to reconfigure device through its web interface.

Shame really as once it's up and running its great, now able to share my printers across the Network

Not a device I would give to the average user to setup.
