I have looked for a month for this item each day for three hours a day, for this cable that will work on vista 7, no dealer sells it this seems to be the best answer so far Dabs have done it again and come out on top. best dealer in the UK keep it up lads. alf brimming

The device itself works well once installed, although this took some time. The supplied instructions are for Windows 2000 only and even then refer to drivers not supplied on the CD-ROM. The CD-ROM itself is confusing having drivers for several devices none of which seemed to match the device exactly.
Trial and error finally got it working.

Seems to work, but you will need to download the drivers from the startech website. The supplied disk does not contain the right drivers.
