Have had this for over a week now. Great little notebook, does everything you need for the price. On eco mode it lasts a good 6/7 hours, even on full 'power' it lasts 3/4 hours easily. Have hooked it up through HDMI to my 42" TV and the picture and sound quality is great - unike my Sony Vaio !! Its size makes it really portable, the screen is bright and clear. The hard drive is more than adequate for a portable device. I thought the celeron and 2 GB ( would have been nice had it been 4 GB)of memory may have struggled with video, but it copes well without any delay. Build quality is good. Add to this the 'free' DVD offer and its almost a bargain. Went for a Toshiba because I had one many years ago and it was a good solid bit of kit and lasted years - hopefully this will be the case with this. One thing to note is the hard drive protection software is really sensitive.
