I've had this drive for nearly a year now, hasn't failed, is fast, slightly noisy when running at full speed but apart from that everything i wanted, am about to buy another as a backup or run as raid with xp and windows 7 beta.

Hot and fast !

So far very pleased. Although it does run slightly hotter than my older 500gb seagate, it is faster and fairly quiet. Seems to get noisey when running hot. Make sure you've got good cooling. Unsure of reliablilty as only had for a month now, but comparing to my seagate 500gb that suffered major errors after about 2 weeks, it was definatly worth the buy at this price !
