Silent drive

I considered a new WD 500gb drive for my new build after good experience with 2 WD 1gb drives in my NAS box. These drives are very quiet and from my experience reliable. Since i haven't had a single problem so far i would recommend one of these.

I bought two of these to put in my fanless server and I wish I had done it earlier. They are not just quiet but for all practical purposes silent. Far better than my old drives.
These really are quite enough to be in a living room without being audible - any fan makes far more noise.
