Just to confirm, this IS the newer 216 core model. Beast of a card, thought i was going to have to by a new case at first, hardly fit in, but with a little fiddling its in. great service from dabs, paid for next day delivery, and indeed it arrived next day, unlike a couple of other retailers i could mention. first time buyer, will definitly be using dabs for future purchases! thanks, Callum

Fals Start But Happy Ending

This card is one of the best out there for the money and is on a par with any GTX 280 when it comes to performance as stated in earlier reviews and the Double Lifetime Warrenty should be a major selling point in its self. However I would like to highlight and confirm a statement made by one reviewee that some Black Edition cards are faulty as my first card was, from the research I did I found a number of references to a high heat intolerence in the said cards. After testing it in two rigs with Furmark the thresh hold was confirmed at 72oC. Dabs didn't hesitate in sending me a new card and I have had no problems since. I would highly recommend this card and the customer service not only with Dabs but with XFX themselves.

When it arrived with the rest of the kit (all bought from Dabs!!) I was bowled over at the size of the new card!! Just fits in the Antec 900 that I am using for the new system BUT WOW what a card and makes COD4 awsome on my 42" 1080P LCD screen!!! TOP VALUE for money!!

Brought this late last year to go in my new PC, along with a Q9550 and 4gig RAM.
Runs EVERYTHING on max settings; GTA4, Fallout 3, even Crysis on Ultra High DX10. Pre-overclocked it runs even faster than some stock GTX280's.
If only they would reduce in a price a bit more so can purchase a second for SLI ;)

Runs Empire total war on ultra high settings with no problems at all. I have a new i7 920 2.66ghz system and couldn't decide what graphics card to get. In the end I purchased this one and I don't regret it. If your building a new system, I would stick this card in last, as its rather long.

For the current price (<190) this card is a steal compared to the other GTX cards. It's the best GTX 260 currently on Dabs, and one of the cheapest. Buy it, buy it now.

Great Card, Great Value, Great Performance.
I am running Farcry2 on Ultra High Settings @ 1680x1050 2xAA, and Grid Maxed out @ 1680x1050.
I also think the image quality is much better than the ati3870 that it replaced and it runs cooler and quieter too.
