Does exactly what it says on the tin. I've only ever used stock CPU coolers before but my first impression of aftermarket coolers is wow. The Zalman Super Aero Flower drops my quad core CPU temps by 20 - 30 degrees under load compared with stock. A good buy.

I purchased this to replace the stock cooler on a Intel Quad core, after the CPU was overheating to 106 degrees.
This was nice & easy to install, though be warned it is very tall!
On idle the CPU now clocks at 23 degrees without it being overclocked.
A great cooler if you have the space inside the case.

This super quiet CPU cooler compatible with loads of CPU's and motherboards, keeps my CPU maxing a cool 50 degrees under load. I did not use it with the included thermal grease so no comment about that... but what i did use it with was arctic 5 silver thermal compound. I idle 34-35 degrees and i did overclock my intel core 2 duo E7500 a little... 3.63 Ghz was still 35-36 degrees idle and 53 under load. Great value for money, will be helpful for years to come! (Just know that this thing is HUGE! make sure you have a big enough case!!

got this today on my amd pii 940 quad. very cool next best thing to water cooling and value for money. 52 degrees to 32 degrees.
