Turn an Internal 3.5" SATA or IDE Hard Drive into an External USB/eSATA Hard Drive. This InfoSafe 3.5in IDE/SATA external hard drive enclosure connects to a host computer through either USB 2.0 (SATA or IDE) or eSATA (SATA only), delivering versatility and cost-effectiveness. Large capacity drives (tested with up to 4TB) can be used to greatly enhance your computer's storage/backup capabilities.

This black aluminum drive enclosure features a screwless snap-in design for hard drive installation that saves time, and supports any standard 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive - allowing you to customize your external storage solution based on your preference of hard drive model and manufacturer. The External hard drive enclosure features a large built-in 80mm fan that provides enhanced re-distribution of heat build-up generated as a result of typical drive operation. This feature is especially important for larger capacity hard drives, and faster "spinning" drives (i.e 7200 RPM), as it can help keep drives running cooler, which can preserve data integrity and the drive's lifespan by reducing the chances of premature failures.
