Second Seagate drive that's failed...

Two of these drives had failed on me shortly after coming out of warranty.

Seagate has always been reliable in the past, but I'm afraid to say I will never buy another product from them.

Will fork out a bit extra to get a more reliable brand from now on.

Failed Drive after 16 months

This drive failed after 16 months with low usage.
it was only used for backups once a month.
Noticed bad sectors after checking disk with CrystalDiskInfo (recommended)
A disappointment with the drive failing 4 months after warranty expired.
