Very pleased with this. No dead pixels, good service from dabs. Only gripe is that there isn't any height adjustment, but a book or two will do for that. No speakers or USB hub - but that's fine by me.

Fabulous screen. I was a little thrown with Word docs, where you really need to constrain the doc to the left hand side of the screen but, if you're a software developer, this screen is fantastic.
I have my Solution Explorer on my 1280x1024 left hand screen and the main code, plus Properties windows on the Acer.
To summarise, my wife (who typically is mostly in Word) rates it 1/5. I spend most of my time in Visual Studio, and I rate it 5/5!

I’ve had my eyes on a new 24 inch Samsung for a while as I love the quality but they are pretty pricey. When I saw this Acer on Dabs I did think well you get what you pay for. But I decided to buy and try. And I’m not disappointed. Smart, large, no dead pixels, fast, bright, plenty of colour, 3 year warranty, in fact it’s pretty excellent. You get VGA and DVI cables (2metres). I also bought a DVI to HDMI cable separately as my Compaq laptop has an HDMI output, so now I’m running 1920 x 1080 native monitor resolution, it just looks so stunning compared to the laptop’s diddy 15.6 inch 1366 x 768. The viewable area is a few millimetres over one page of A4 high, and about two and a half pages wide, with a viewable diagonal of 24 inches (not less like some monitors). I really can’t fault this monitor. If you, like I was, are looking for a 24 inch and considering the more expensive makes, in my opinion it really is worth your considering this Acer.

I bought 2 of these for an ATI Radeon Eyefinity setup

I bought 2 of these to use in widescreen gaming with a Radeon 5770/Eyefinity. The key requirements for me were - thin bezel and rectangular in shape with no bumps on any edge, so the screens could be used in a multi-monitor setup (bezel is 1cm wide), 2 inputs (DVI&VGA), low cost, fast response (2ms).....well, having bought 2, they fit all my needs, so I have to say that I would recommend these to anyone. Those looking for cost effective Eyefinity setup to go with their shiny new Radeon 5970/5870/5770s should consider these. With 4 screens you could have a 3840*2160 setup. 4 screen supports are available for about 80 quid, so total cost about 700 quid....which although a significant investment, is great value for money.

First class monitor!

What can I say that has not already been sent - not a lot! The monitor worked virtually straight from the box. I had a little trouble with my graphics card, but once that was resolved, all is well. Having replaced a 17" standard flat panel, the 24" widescreen is enormous! I thoroughly recommend this monitor - at this price, you'd be mad not to snap one up immediately. Full marks to Dabs as well. When I ordered, I expected delivery to be next week - I was amazed when it turned up today, less than 24 hours after they notified me it had been despatched!

This is my 3rd Acer and simply the best one yet. Anyone out there trying to decide between this and other displays at a similar price take the plunge and buy one,you will not be disappointed. Hats off to Dabs too for good pre-sales service and prompt delivery

Dabs delivered two days after ordering. thanks Dabs. Unpacked and attached to base. Very easy to do and set up in just a couple of minutes. Wasn't nice and shiny but more of a matt finish to the framework. amazed to find DVI and VGA cables included not to mention two power cables, one standard UK fitting and one round pin plug. What more can I say. Just plugged into the computer and it set itself up. Adjusted the setting to 1920 x 1080. Great product. Thanks Acer.
