i have no problems with the case that i purchased.
the sides are easily taken off and put back on and the cable to the side fan is a good length.
i have no complaints its a good case and i would recommend this on a tight budget.

Couple of things

Just to add to my previous review. This case Does NOT come with a power lead, not a problem if you're replacing an existing base unit, but a real bugger if you're building a new system. Also on 3 occasions one of the screws securing the psu to the case has been loose in the box. On 2 I've had to shake it out of the power supply itself. So just check. Still a good case for £20. But check for the psu screw - had sparks from the latest one before I remembered and shook the screw out of the psu !

Not a bad little case

I've used 4 of these so far.
Sides are no easier or harder than most cases I've use over the years. And how often do most people open their cases ? Not enough to worry about it.
The side fan is very noisy and not really necessary so i remove it. Got a small stack of spare cooling fans now :-) Bonus.
Good basic case, mid level usb ports are a definite bonus.
No real complaints and I like the price.

For the money.....

It's cheap. The PSU on mine blew up after a year so, the cable on the fan is too short, so you have to disconnect it every time you have the side off, and the build quality is abysmal.
As one of the other reviewers notes, the side panels are very difficult to get back on, the only technique that seems to work on mine is to place the case on its side and use both hands, one elbow and a foot to keep the side panel flat whilst thumping it at the back. They don't come off very easily either.....
Best used to build a system for someone(else!) who will never want to get inside, and only needs a couple of drives installed.

OK for the money

Not a bad case for the money when it includes a PSU. The PSU only comes with a single SATA power plug, so be sure to buy adapters if you need to install more than 1 SATA device.
I didn't experience the same problems as the other reviewer with the sides of the case, but they can be a little tricky to put back on. One side of the case comes complete with fan and air duct (above where the CPU sits on the motherboard).

Poorly made case
Reviewed by Olwynne. Review Posted 29/06/2009
I know this is a cheap case, and it looks very nice but the sides are a nightmare to get off and even worse to fit back on again. They need a lot of pressure to prise them off and this causes them to bend and buckle. Then they need a lot of pressure to get back on again and even then they do not sit correctly.
Not a case I would buy again.
